I always tease my little brother before by giving him a half-ripe banana which he really hates – aside from the fact that my mom always tells me to give him the half-ripe because it’s healthier; he always complains because of its rancid taste. Now that he’s older, he always asks me to bring him some bananas after my work (such a cute kid, right?). I was very much like my brother when I was young and I really did not believe my mom then but upon reading some articles before, I was greatly embarrassed although I didn’t really tell her about it. I think that it’s better to say that a banana a day keeps the doctor away.

I love eating bananas! I agree that banana is the perfect food. I always eat one after having a heavy meal. I’m trying to have a healthy diet, but my friends say that eating banana will make you fatter. It all depends on proportion, having everything balanced. I think bananas are good fats. I’ve been having problems with my digestion, sometimes I couldn’t move my bowel in a day, and since bananas are high in potassium and fiber, my metabolism has improved a lot. Bananas also help keep bowel movements regular. They also help prevent the formation of kidney stones. I consider bananas as the perfect food package. It’s easy to eat and has all the vitamins I need!

I used to live in the countryside until I was 14, and back then, my family used to own a farm and we surely have tons of banana trees which we sell on the nearby market and leave some for our family as well. That’s why there is no doubt at all that I always have the freshest bananas available at home. I have a history of suffering from heartburn ever since I was a teenager, and instead of always relying on my medications, I usually go instead for bananas as it somehow eases my nausea and bloated tummy. Other than that, until now, whenever I suffer from diarrhea I always make sure that I have bananas with me as I have proven it to be highly effective to calm the troubling uneasiness. After reading this article, I did realize that a banana indeed is a complete food!
