Supplements for Prostate Support

Prostate problems can be seen in most men between the ages of 50-70. BPH or enlarged prostate and prostate cancer are among the top prostate related issues faced by men. While one does need medicine to do away with a disease per se, regular intake of supplements for prostate support, coupled with a good healthy diet and exercise, can actually lead to better prostate health and the regulation of prostate related hormones.

The best prostate support supplements are the ones with natural prostate support herbs and ingredients like Saw Palmetto, Pygeum, Nettle leaf, Nettle roots, Saw Palmetto Berry, Pumpkin seed extract, Hydrangea root, etc. There are more prostate remedies and prostate health vitamins and supplements available than one can even begin to imagine. However, it’s important to make note of the ingredients, their exact quantity in the prostate support supplement and whether that quantity will actually suffice to make a difference to one’s overall prostate health. Before selecting any prostate support herb, one should ensure that the effects are backed up by actual clinical data and research.

Erectile dysfunction, painful or negligible urine, and nocturia can severely affect one’s quality of life and even, mental health. Research shows that using natural prostate support vitamins and supplements, that contain ingredients like Beta-Sitosterol and Selenium can actually go a long way in supporting one’s overall prostate health, while reducing severity of symptoms from existing problems.

Different ingredients work for different prostate issues. The supplements that work for BPH may not be very helpful in dealing with prostate problems. When purchasing a prostate support natural remedy, it’s essential to go through not just the ingredient listing, but also make a comparative study of the efficacy of said natural prostate support herbs in handling one’s specific problem. There is no ‘same size fits all’ concept here. One should ideally add up the ingredients and their presence count in the formula before deciding how beneficial it would be to one’s own condition. It’s also important that one avoids prostate support supplements that talk of “proprietary blends” as this is simply one way of not revealing contents, and could end up doing more harm than good.

As men age, their chances of developing prostate problems also grow. That does not mean giving up on life. It is better that one takes a natural or herbal prostate support supplement, easily available online, and lead a full life, with minimal stress.

Prostate cancer is something that has effected many of my family members, and I think that this might be a great read for them. I have already recommended that they seek supplements to counter the effects that the cancer has had on their prostate, but so far we have not found anything particularly useful. However, we will be sure to give your range of supplements a look to see if we are interested.

I found some research that suggests that the first signs of prostate problems may be treated by herbal prostate support. They say that it’s less expensive and with no reported side effects. I tried to find out more about it and some of these treatments claim they may help prevent prostate cancer, the second leading cause of cancer death in men. Some researchers have noted that the herbs works as well as drugs. The prostate is an integral part of a male’s “manhood” because it contributes to production of semen, the fluid that carries the sperm. By taking a regular dose of prostate supplement support, you can maintain a good overall prostate health.

According to World Cancer Research Fund International analysis of worldwide research on prostate cancer, “the total number of men in the 104 studies from around the world reviewed for the report was over nine million (9,855,000); and the total number of prostate cancer cases in the studies analyzed for the report was 191,000.” Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer affecting men. Nobody is really sure of what the specific causes are. There are so many possible factors, including age, race, lifestyle, medications, and genetics, to name a few. It is important to get fully informed as soon as possible and take appropriate action to support your prostate health. Foods that help support the prostate include vegetables and fruits rich in vitamins, carotenoids, and lycopene such as raw broccoli and cauliflower these are excellent food choices to support a healthy prostate. Limiting the intake of Carbohydrates, sugars, and grains, highly processed or charcoaled meats, pasteurized dairy foods and foods with trans fats are also advised. Nowadays, men could also choose great product that could support their prostate health.

As a registered nurse assigned in the cancer ward, I have noticed that in men, prostate cancer seems to be one of the most common diagnosis other than lung cancer. What’s sad about this is that some men die not knowing they already have prostate cancer. So yes, it might be asymptomatic for some patients especially during the early stages. In that sense, most men only clarify this diagnosis by undergoing routine medical examinations or blood tests. Since I have been assigned in the cancer ward for almost a year now, I also do free counseling in the public community to increase their awareness on different types of cancers. In this sense, I urge men to maintain a healthy lifestyle by having a healthy diet, proper exercise and safe family planning (STD’s can contribute to prostate cancer). Thank you Herbs Pro for providing such an informative article. We hope that this may further increase health awareness among men in particular.

I do agree with Joseph that prostate related diseases is an increasing problem among males. Although there are already a lot of medicines that can prevent or cure such problems, we must still be skeptical of the supplements that we take. When my dad experienced a difficulty in urinating, my brother gave him New Chapter’s Zyflamend Prostate since he has been using it for quite some time now. When we looked at the nutritional values included in it, it actually has a lot, if not all, of the support herbs ingredients stated in this article and selenium is actually a plus since it also prevents cancer. As far as I know, it definitely relieved him of the painful urination.
