Can Licorice benefit your skin?

The antioxidants in licorice root help block free radicals and keep your skin from ageing prematurely.

Liquorice helps regenerate elastin and collagen for skin that’s smooth to the touch and stretches easily. It also contains amino acids, which have long been known to help moisturize and rehydrate the skin.

Whether you’re struggling with sun-induced freckles and spots, acne scars, or simply want the skin to look a little brighter, then Licorice is a winner. If you’re looking for a natural alternative to chemical brighteners or a gentle ingredient for inflamed skin, you can’t beat the impressive benefits of Licorice!

Great Tip – If you are suffering from melasma (known as the mask of pregnancy), it’s an excellent natural remedy to help lighten the skin after delivery.
